What we collect
Your account and sign-in details; bank accounts, balances, transactions, card statements and limits from Plaid; bills you upload and the text read from them; your budgets, categories, alerts and answers; your ZIP code; device and push-notification data; cookies that keep you signed in and remember your language, theme and Home view. Who we share it with
Plaid (bank connection), Anthropic (reads the text of uploaded bills, with long numbers such as account numbers hidden first; the file itself is not sent), our hosting and storage providers, and the push service of your browser (for example Apple, Google or Mozilla), which carries notifications to your device, only to run Money Help. Notifications do not show amounts or store names unless you turn that on. We do not sell or share it for advertising. [Lawyer to complete.]
How long we keep it
Bank data: while your bank is connected. When you disconnect a bank, its accounts and purchases are deleted after 12 months, unless you delete them sooner.
Bills you upload: until you delete them or your account. A medical bill uploaded without your health-data consent is deleted right away without being read.
Your account: until you delete it. Sign-in sessions end after 24 hours without use; failed sign-in records are deleted after 30 days.
When you delete your account, we delete your data within minutes; a note that you asked, and security logs with only random ids, are kept. [Inactive accounts: the lawyer and owner to decide a period (for example 2 years), after which we email you, then delete.]
How we protect it
Files are encrypted and scanned for viruses; bank access tokens are encrypted; two-step sign-in is available. [Lawyer to complete.]
